Eagle FC beat Chorley Crusaders convincingly 9-1 on Saturday to bounce back following their disappointing defeat against Whittle last week.

Meanwhile, their rivals Swan FC managed to edge a hard fought games against Allstars.

B.Woodford put Swan ahead before man of the match G.Griffin equalised - only for C.McMinamen to score late to make it 2-1.

Meanwhile, Gillibrand Saints’ impressive start to the season took a blip as they suffered their first defeat to Eagle Reserves.

Eagle Reserves won 3-1 with two goals from M.Wonk and another effort from C.Wilding.

Whittle FC put themselves back into the title hunt with a 5–2 win over Croston Sports Club, man of the match for Whittle was N.Duncan and for Croston it was their keeper – A.Ainsworth.
