Garry Flitcroft has bolstered his squad with the addition of two new signings.
The Chorley boss has snapped up former Stockport County and Radcliffe Borough goalkeeper Lloyd Rigby, who has returned to the UK following a stint in Belgium.
And also joining the Magpies is striker John Cunliffe, who has just returned from the United States after a spell with Carolina Railhawks.
Garry said: "Both players were recommended to me and they have impressed me after training with the squad over the last couple of weeks.
"Lloyd was at Stockport and then spent some time at Radcliffe last season, before deciding to move to Belgium.
"However, he felt homesick and recently came back to the UK. One of my contacts suggested we should take a look at him and we've liked what we've seen so I've signed him up.
"John is another who came highly recommended. He was at Manchester United as a kid before moving to America, where he played for several clubs, including MLS teams the San Jose Earthquakes and Chivas USA.
"He's looked bright in training and he has a decent goals record so he could be an exciting addition to the squad."
Garry added: "We are about to enter a crucial period in the season because, weather permitting, we face a lot of games in a short period. That's when you need a strong squad with plenty of competition for places."
