Chorley Football Club have confirmed boss Garry Flitcroft has rejected an approach from a fellow North West club to become their manager.

Flitcroft rejected talks with the club last week and Magpies chiefs have moved quickly to praise their main man, who will be going into his sixth season with the Victory Park outfit come August.

“Garry rejecting the move shows that his heart is still in the job, he loves the club, people and fans.”

“We are delighted to announce that Garry has committed his future to the club,” said vice chairman and secretary Graham Watkinson.

“We are only half way at where we want to be.

“Plans are already in place for next season and Garry has identified a list of targets.

“It’s exciting times and we already anticipating an excellent 2015/16 season.”

After the positive news regarding Flitcroft, the club can also announce that there will be a price freeze on ticket prices for the new season.

It means an adult season ticket can be bought at £190 with a concessions (over-60s) being priced at £125.

Tickets for those aged 12 to 16 are £65, eight to 11-year-olds are £25, and under eights are just £10.

The early bird offer will also be available, with adult tickets priced at £180 and concessions at £115.

Aged 12 to 16s are £50. There isn’t a discount available for eight to 11s and under eights.

Matchday prices will be £10 for adults, £7 for concessions, £5 for 12 to 16s, £2 for eight to 11s, while under eights are free.

The club can also confirm they will play a friendly against Blackburn Rovers on Friday, July 31.
