THe end of the football season has seen a flurry of key matches - and the Chorley and Leyland Guardian photographers have been there.

Chorley FC played Witton Albion, Clitheroe and local rivals Bamber Bridge in a week of games ahead of their play-off semi-final with Curzon Ashton.

In addition to the derby, Bamber Bridge - under new manager Neil Crowe- took on Chester City as well as entertaining Garforth Town in Tony Greenwood’s last match in charge.

We were also there on Saturday at Irongate when championship-winning Bamber Bridge reserves beat AFC Fylde 5-0.

We were there when Euxton Villa lost to Lostock St Geralds in the final of the Richardson Cup 1-0.

There was a happier ending when Charnock Richard beat Eagley in the final of Lancashire Amateur Shield.

Ken Chapman, who has been sending us pictures of Charnock Richard all season, was there last week to cover the action.
