Chorley manager Garry Flitcroft has called on fans to back the Magpies’ promotion bid – by taking advantage of the club’s ‘Early Bird’ season ticket offer.
The former Blackburn Rovers and Manchester City star believes his new-look squad has the potential to mount a serious title challenge in the Northern Premier Division premier Division next term.
The Victory Park boss has already snapped up six new signings during a busy summer of transfer activity, including two players – Jake Cottrell and Carlos Roca – from promotion rivals FC United of Manchester.
“After two near misses, I’m more determined than ever to go for promotion next season,” said an upbeat Flitcroft.
“We’ve made some great additions over the summer and I believe I now have the strongest squad I’ve ever had as a manager.
“I’m genuinely excited about our prospects for next season and can’t wait for pre-season to start.” Season ticket prices for adults have been frozen at last year’s price of £170, and concession season tickets have been reduced to just £90.
In both cases this means supporters will be getting more for less as there are an additional two home league fixture in the 2013/14 season as the division has been expanded to 24 sides from 22.
A new season ticket for students/young adults has also been introduced at the fantastic rate of £50, while teen and junior magpies tickets are available at the same prices as last season.
In addition, a family season ticket can be purchased providing even greater savings for supporters. Pay at the gate rates have also been frozen for adults at £9 and concessions at £5, while a fantastic new under 16’s price has been introduced at just £3. Under 7’s will continue to be admitted for free.
Fans can make further savings (adult season ticket £160, concessions £80) by taking advantage of the Early Bird Offer, which runs until June 30th.
Any fans who buy season tickets before the pre-season friendlies will also be able to watch all of the Magpies’ home warm-up games for free.
This includes matches against Blackburn Rovers, Bolton Wanderers and Preston North End.
Chairman Ken Wright said: “We believe our season ticket offer represents excellent value for money.
“As a board of directors, we are determined to make football as affordable as possible for our fans.
“But equally we also want to support the manager, which is reflected in the quality of the signings we’ve made so far this summer.”
