CHORLEY FC star Steve Foster has been put on the transfer list.

In a statement manager Garry Flitcroft has announced that the contracted striker is being released.

He said: “I spoke to Fozzie after Saturday’s game and told him I was making him available for transfer.

“I’ve got a tremendous amount of respect for Fozzie and everything he’s done for the club.

“He’s always given me everything whenever he’s pulled on a Chorley shirt and his goals have been instrumental in our success over the last 18 months.

“I just feel it’s time to freshen things up, which is why I’ve decided to make him available.”

After joining the club from Salford City in February 2011, Fozzie has scored 32 goals in 65 appearances and was voted the Evostik Premier Division player of the year last season.
