Chorley boss Garry Flitcroft is calling on his side to eliminate mistakes ahead of the big game tonight against FC United of Manchester.

On Saturday, Chorley had to be content with snatching a point at Witton Albion thanks to a late strike from substitute Brandon Zibaka

The Magpies were two goals down for the majority of the game, and Flitcroft expressed his disappointment in the manner his side conceded.

Chorley still sit four points clear at the top of the Evo-Stik League Premier Division and Flitcroft is hoping for a solid performance against FC

United.

He said: “I’m not sure whether we will make any changes but we will have to see.

“Adam Mather suffered a knee injury and we don’t know the extent of that yet – he will probably need a scan.

“Saturday was a huge point for us with Skem getting beat again, but I’ve told the lads no more mistakes and now beat FC United on Tuesday night.”

Flitcroft is appealing to the Magpies fans to turn out in force tonight.

The former Blackburn midfielder knows how well supported FC United are and he hopes a large crowd can attend to cheer on the Magpies.

He added: “They are well supported and we know they’ll bring a good crowd. But we are well supported and I’m hoping we can put on a good performance for a huge crowd.”
