Two football personalities from Chorley and Leyland have been on top of the world after celebrating success at the weekend.
Thirty-seven years ago, Graham Barrow helped Chorley to beat Wigan Athletic 2-1 in the Lancashire Challenge Trophy Final.
But on Saturday, he was celebrating in Wigan Athletic colours after being part of the backroom staff in the 1-0 victory over
Manchester City in the FA Cup final at Wembley.
Barrow still lives in Chorley but celebrations were cut short as Roberto Martinez’s men have two crucial games in their battle for Premier League survival this week.
Meanwhile, Clayton-le-Woods player Phil Jones picked up his first Premier League medal with Manchester United on Sunday.
