Three games were played in the Chorley Saturday Football League this weekend.
After 14 consecutive defeats Chorley Crusaders managed to upset International Allstars with a 4-2 win.
Their first win of the season saw goals from M Holding, D Dalton (two) and P Haddon.
Man of the match for Crusaders was M Hitchen and for Allstars G Cobbi-Pepprah.
Elsewhere, Croston Sports Club were at home to Eagle Reserves, but the home advantage proved little help as the lost 4-1.
Man of the match for Croston was Derbyshire whilst man of the match for Eagle Reserves was S Hendy.
The big clash for the day was our featured game between rivals Hop Pocket and lead leaders Whittle FC.
A close run games saw Whittle take the lead just before half time with P Mason scoring after 40 minutes.
Hop Pocket managed a late comeback with J Burton equalising after 70 minutes.
Whittle were awarded a penalty in dying moments.
C Blundell stepped up to take the penalty but it was saved, only for him to latch onto the rebound and score the winner and put Whittle six points clear at the top.
Man of the Match for Hop Pocket was R Chartier and for Whittle J Whittle.
