Chorley midfielder Paul Woolcott has retired from the game.
The ex Stockport County man has said work commitments will no longer allow him to train midweek and commit to every Saturday fixture,
Woolcott joined the Magpies from Marine in late October, 2013.
The energetic midfielder made an instant impact at the Chorley Group Victory Park stadium and became a big hit with the fans.
Vice-chairman Graham Watkinson, said: “Everybody at the club wishes Paul all the best for the future, it’s a great shame he had to retire.”
Woolcott is the third Chorley player to leave this summer, winger Simon Wiles departed the club last month joining big spenders Salford City and Keil O’Brien has turned professional joining Bury
