Ince on target for Chorley

FA Cup 1st round qualifier

AFC Fylde 1 Chorley 1

Chorley will have to play it again after a 1-1 draw at a rain-soaked Kellamargh Park.

Goalkeeper Russell Saunders was the star for the Magpies as he pulled off a number of saves to keep the home side at bay in the first half.

At the other end, Steve Flitcroft also went close after 25 minutes when he fired over the bar.

Chorley did not have to wait long to open the scoring when Tom Ince drilled home from the edge of the box five minutes after the break.

However, the lead only lasted six minutes as Fylde full-back James Heywood tapped the ball home at the back post.

The scoreline remained at 1-1 and AFC Fylde travel to Victory Park on Tuesday night.
