Chorley 6 Frickley Athletic 0

THE Magpies continued their unbeaten start to the season with a convincing home win.

It could have been oh so different had the visitors third minute penalty not rebounded off Russ Saunders crossbar.

However, just before 15 minutes were on the clock, striker Steve Foster opened the scoring from the penalty spot.

Defender Andy Russell doubled the hosts lead with a header from an Adam Roscoe cross.

Before the break, Foster helped himself to a hat-trick to ensure Chorley to a comfortable 4-0 lead.

In the second period, Shelton Payne got his name on the scoresheet and new signing Lee McEvilly got his first goal for the club
