Magpies handed Flyde blockbuster

Chorley face local rivals Flylde next Saturday following their early exit from the FA Cup.

Their 2-1 defeat at Salford prompted the Evo-Stik League to bring forward thier home league game against AFC Fylde from Tuesday February 15 to Saturday September 11th.

In addition the Magpies' trip to Durham City has also been brought forward to Saturday October 2nd, as they have a free weekend due to a bye in the FA Trophy.

This means with now face Durham in back to back league games, with Darwen in the Lancashire Trophy in between.

Biog spending Fylde, who started the season as second favourites for the title behind just Chester, have had a steady start to their league campainge having recovered from an opening day defeat at the hands of Lancaster City, to then draw with Witton Albion and defeat Leigh Genesis.

The exited the cup with a three-one defeat at Skelmersdale United.

Chorley have started the league season with three thumping wins.
