Chorley 94-3

Chorley CC booked their place in the last 16 of the ECB National Club championship with a seven wicket victory over Blackpool.

Andy Holdsworth’s side put their disappointing league form behind them in the cup as Billy Smith (3-16) played a key role in bowling out the hosts for 90.

Chris Harty (2-30), Iain Critchley (2-14) and Will Moulton (1-9) also chipped in for the visitors.

In reply, the trio of Jack Bentham (29), Kieran McCullagh (25) and Holdsworth (21) put Chorley in a match-winning position then it was left to Iain Critchley and Bentham to wrap up the victory.
