The Chorley MSA Group are getting a reak kick from competitive action at the moment.

And leading the way is Felipe Garcia,27, who has trained with the group for more than six years.

He recently made his ring debut Muay Thai fight over three, two-minute rounds.

And he recorded a unanimous points decision against Lewis Hall from the Super Gym in Knutsford.

Felipe was put through a gruelling six-week training schedule at Chorley MSA by head instructor Kru Trevor Hine and Kru Simon Green in readiness for the fight, and the schedule paid off as Felipe landed excellent shots and had a tight defence.

The second round was his best as Garcia landed numerous shots to leave Hall receiving an eight count.

Felipe is already excited for his next fight.

Sam Bell is another top-class fighter from the Chorley group and he is returning to the ring later this autumn.

He will be fighting for a North West Area title against Cavern Mulkeran from JC’s gym in Accrington over five, two-minute rounds.

The fight will be part of England v Belgium card at the Radcliffe Civic Suite on November 16.

Classes at the MSA Group are based at XFit Gym on Friday Street. Visit www.msachorleymuaythai.com for more details.
