Friends and family of tragic Chorley teenager Ryan Acaster are organising a charity horse ride in his memory.
The 17-year-old, of Chapel Street, Brinscall, died from last month after a motorbike accident on a remote dirt track near Martin Mere.
Ryan's love of horses also evident at his funeral when his hearse was pulled by two white horses.
Louise Roberts, who became friends with Ryan through Leyland and District Riding Club and Euxton Riding Club, is asking people to support the event to help keep his memory alive.
The 22-year-old said: "Ryan started riding when he was three or four years old.
"He was a very cheeky but lovable lad who was always smiling - he always wanted to do a bit more than anybody else.
"He loved horses and that's why I decided to organise the ride because I think it's something he would have liked."
Funds raised during the horse trail will go towards World Horse Welfare.
The horse ride will start at Delph Lane, Charnock Richard, at 12 noon on Saturday, and will go to Coppull and then back to Charnock Richard.
Ryan's family has been overwhelmed by the fundraising events following the death of the popular teenager, who was a former pupil of Southlands High School.
Colleagues at Ryan's former workplace, Brinscall Building and Plumbing Merchants, have raised nearly £200 for the North West Air Ambulance crew.
His mum Diane Catterall has been moved by the gestures and support she has had from relatives, friends and neighbours.
She said: "This is a very kind gesture and I'm very touched by what Louise is doing.
"Ryan used to look after her horse, Toffee, and then his grandmother bought it for him as a surprise.
"We put ribbons on it and a big gift tag and Ryan was really surprised when he came home from school and saw the horse.
"He loved horses and he would have loved the idea of a horse ride to Coppull."
An online tribute page has been set up in Ryan's memory has been set up on a social networking site and at http://ryan-acaster.gonetoosoon.co.uk/my_index.php
