Rush hour traffic is tailing back in Chorley after the police and ambulance service were called to a bike accident.
Cars can be seen queuing for up to a mile on the A6 Preston Road in all directions - including towards the town centre and in the opposite direction to Shaw Hill Golf Club.

A police spokesman said that they had received a call at 8.31am to Temple Way, close to the Mormon temple and that ambulance crews were working on a male - who they believe may have suffered an heart attack.

One of the lanes towards the M61 has been closed causing the traffic delays.
