Do you have the cutest puppy, or the most handsome dog?

Does your mutt have the waggiest tail or could you win a dog-biscuit and spoon race?

These are just a few of the events on offer at Cuerden Valley Dog Show and Fun Day on Sunday September 29.

The event will run between 11am and 4pm and those wishing to enter their pooch into any of the events or the dogg dash and Canine Olympics can register from 10am.

The event is the brainchild of a group of volunteers who simply love to walk their dogs in Cuerden Valley Park.

Group leader Nicola Wilkinson said; “We heard that the Cuerden Valley Park Trust need to raise funds to help maintain the Park and keep it open, so a group of fellow dog-walkers got our heads together and decided to do our bit to help.

Entry costs £2 for adults, £1 for children.

A family tickets costs £5,.

Entry for dogs is free with their owners but £1 to enter a contest.
