Jazz guitarist Ant Law heads to Southport to headline The Royal Clifton Hotel this Sunday.
On the road again to support his 2015 album, Zero Sum World, Ant will be showcasing tracks from that album, as well as playing songs from his debut album Entanglement.
Described by Jazzwise as “scarily proficient” and by Guitarist Magazine as “ambitious, engrossing guitar jazz”, this is a gig for jazz and guitar enthusiast alike.
Schooled at the Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts, Ant moved to London seven years ago, where he has worked with the likes of Mica Paris, former Mercury Prize nominee Gwilym Simcock and X Factor winner Steve Brookstein.
Since his move he has played shows at the Roundhouse, London Jazz Festival and even Wembley Stadium.
In addition he is also the author of 3rd Millennium Guitar and is a pioneer of the Perfect Fourths tuning system for guitarists.
