One of Preston’s longest serving rock bands hits the stage at the city’s Mad Ferret this Saturday.
Dennis Delight have been around for over 40 years, led by founder member Frank Halliwell.
With original member Mick McGreavy, they won the Blackpool Evening Gazette’s Rock Battle Competition in 1983.
But Mick stopped performing live six years ago and these days Frank is joined onstage by Clark Taylor, formerly of another city band, Fat Lad’s Brother, who joined after coming to shows as a fan, and by 23-year-old Paul Swindells.
They will be playing an extended set which will include many of their old favourites
Support comes from fellow rockers Sellenium and another veteran Preston band, Heavy Fluid Addicts, making their first appearance at the Ferret for 2013.
Doors for the show open at 8pm at the Fylde Road pub and entry is free.
