A retired group of Chorley-based charity entertainers has launched a recruitment drive.
The Travelling Mulberries are a fun music group who entertain sometimes during the day and also in the evening.
They are seeking to expand their available singers so that they can be more flexible.
Founder member Cathy Hurley said: “The group is made up of older people intent on having fun singing whatever takes our fancy. At the moment, we have three guitarists and five singers but we all have holidays and other commitments, making it sometimes difficult to meet the demands on our time.”
The Mulberries took their name from the George Harrison over-50s band the Travelling Wilburys. If you are interested in joining up with them, ring Cathy on 01257 410297 for more information.
