German rock guitar god Michael Schenker makes his debut at Preston’s 53 Degrees tomorrow night with his new project, Temple of Rock.

The ex-star of Brit rockers UFO began his career aged just 15 in his brother Rudolph’s band, The Scorpions, before leaving for England aged just
18.

In Michael Schenker’s Temple of Rock, he is reunited with two old friends from his first band in the shape of drummer Herman Rarebell and bassist Francis Buchholz.

He is also joined by ex-Rainbow vocalist Doogie White and another old bandmate, keyboardist Wayne Findlay, a stalwart of Schenker’s long running solo band, The Michael Schenker Group.

Tickets for the 16-plus show are still on sale, priced at £22.50 plus booking fee, and available from the 53 Degrees box office on 01772 893000, from Action Records, Church Street, Preston on 01772 258809 or online at www.lancashiretickets.co.uk
