A real tempting teaser of a show comes to Preston’s New Continental tomorrow night.
Promoters Crafty Vintage host the Looking Glass Burlesque show in the South Meadow Lane pub’s Arts Space from 7.30pm.
The evening stars a fantastic line up of top burlesque artistes including the night’s organiser Suzie Sequin, alongside Vixie Vengence, Florence Fontaine and Ellie DeVille.
Your compere for the evening is vintage vocalist Kiki DeVille who will also be giving a few tunes, as will Bexi Owen and your host, Suzie Sequin
And there will also be sideshow style entertainment from Dr Diablo and Stefanie Valentine.
And the maid for this show – a performer who traditionally clears the stage of items shed by the dancers, often hamming it up as she goes – will be Beau Shortcake.
It will be an evening with a difference with dancers, magicians, contortionists and singers to keep its audiences both mesmerized and entertained and with all the entertainment personally selected by Suzie herself, drawing on the knowledge of the scene she has gained as a top burlesque artiste.
Bella Besame, host of Manchester’s Slippery Belle Burlesque night, said of its host: “Suzie Sequin is a gorgeous, professional and entertaining performer.
“Her acts are unique, well presented and she’s a joy to work with.”
Suzie said: “The New Continental will be brought to life with an amazing line up of minstrels, personally selected. This show will leave you breathless!
Tickets are £10 and are available now from The Continental’s Bar on 01772 499 425 or buy online from www.seetickets.com.
