Lancashire Jon Culshaw takes the reins in the UK tour of The Hitchhiker’s Guide To the Galaxy Radio Show Live as the voice of The Book as avid fans attempt to re-create the unique masterpiece.

Jon will join other members of the cast Simon Jones [Arthur Dent] and Mitch Benn [Zaphod Beeblebrox] at the Guild Hall on Friday, October 25.

Jon, who is from Ormskirk, first made an appearance in the media working for Red Rose Radio in Preston in 1987, when he used to impersonate Frank Bruno whilst reading the weather. Since then he has been popping up and down across the country performing on different radio stations with his impressions.

Part of a country-wide tour, the live adaptation of the Douglas Adams classic will introduce newcomers to the characters like Marvin the Paranoid Android, and receive the Ultimate Answer To Life, The Universe and Everything as a snippet of Douglas’s comedic genius.

More than 35,000 people went to see The Hitchhiker’s Guide To The Galaxy Radio Show Live when it first toured in 2012, giving director Dirk Maggs ample excuse to bring it back this year.
