Ghost the Musical, based on the Academy Award winning film, is returning to the Opera House in Manchester – where it enjoyed its world premiere in a seven-week pre-West End run.

Almost 100,000 tickets were sold and the show won rave reviews and a
Manchester Theatre Award for Best Musical.

Taking the lead roles of Sam Wheat and Molly Jenson are Stewart Clarke and
Rebecca Trehearn with Oda May played by Wendy Mae Brown and Carl Bruner being played by David Roberts.

Ivan De Freitas reprises his Manchester and West End role as Willie Lopez.

Based on the Oscar winning movie it’s the timeless
fantasy about the power of love. Sam is trapped as a ghost between this world and the next trying to communicate with
girlfriend Molly through a phoney psychic in the hope of saving her from his murderer.

Bruce Joel Rubin adapted his original screenplay for the stage production which is directed by Tony award
winning Matthew
Warchus (Matilda, Art) and has
music and lyrics by Grammy award winning Dave Stewart (Eurythmics) and Glen Ballard and features the iconic song Unchained Melody.

It runs at the Opera House from July 2-20.
