Former One Show presenter Jason Manford comes to Lytham’s Lowther Pavilion tomorrow night for a sneak preview of his new tour.
Manford brings a work-in-progress show to the venue, as he plays one of a handful of dates testing out material for his forthcoming First World Problems shows.
Doors open at the Pavilion at 8pm – but if you haven’t already got a ticket, you’re too late, as all seats for this show sold out within three hours of going on sale.
This Lytham show is only the fifth time the comic will have publicly aired material for that tour.
His warm-up shows kicked off yesterday with a four-night run in Norwich and the Pavilion will be the first place outside of Alan Partridge’s region to see it.
The full First World Problems tour goes on into 2014, and visits Preston Guild Hall for a two-night stay on Monday and Tuesday, October 7 and 8. Tickets for these shows are on sale now priced at £22.50 from the Guild Hall box office on 0845 344 2012.
It’s a return to stand-up for Manford who, after showing off his unexpected opera singing talent on ITV1’s Born To Shine, put his new skill to use by joining Fleetwood-born opera star Alfie Boe on tour and in West End hit musical, Sweeney Todd.
