It is understood water from an overflowing toilet flooded into some backroom areas on Monday, leaving one courtroom unable to be used, and causing damage to carpets.
The building, on Lawson Street, was temporarily closed on Monday as the situation was assessed, but as of Tuesday, Preston Magistrates’ Court continues to run some of its courtrooms.
