Man in his 60s suffers 'head injury' after being hit by car in Preston

Emergency services were called to reports of a road traffic collision in Stanley Street at around at around 4.45pm today (February 16).
The pedestrian, a man in his 60s, was reportedly hit by a Vauxhall Corsa as he was crossing the street.

Hide AdHe has since been taken to hospital with suspected head and arm injuries.
A spokesman for Lancashire Police said: "We were called at Stanley Street, Preston, at 4.44pm today (February 16) to reports of a road traffic collision between a pedestrian and Vauxhall Corsa.
"The pedestrian, a man in his 60s, has suffered suspected head and arm injuries."
Stanley Road was closed for nearly one hour as police and paramedics dealt with the incident but has since reopened.
