Bay walk offers challenge

Because the charity Widows for Peace will be heading out from Arnside Promenade to Kents Bank at 2pm tomorrow.

The route covers several miles and in order to complete it safely you need to be reasonably able-bodied.

You should also be confident in wading across channels where there might be fast-running water of two to three feet deep.

Children should be able to do this themselves with minimum assistance.
