His latest musical rebirth, as the driving force behind the fabulous Rhythm Kings, sees him return to his musical roots with a set of legendary virtuoso musicians.

Wyman says the band – who last month set out to tour the UK are bringing to life the classic rhythm and blues that inspired him to pick up the guitar as a teenager.

“The whole idea behind the band was to play music we love and you can hear and feel that on our records,” said Wyman.

“Playing live, doing gigs, means everybody in the band does it for the same reasons as I do; to have a good time and send the crowd home with smiles on their faces.”

The Rhythm Kings line-up is a virtual blues who’s who.
