They will also be staging their nights, which are usually based in Friargate eco cafe Beautiful Planet, in the city’s Dog and Partridge pub, just up the road.

The very first one goes ahead tomorrow night at the Friargate pub with two extremely funky outfits - St Annes based Spiral Scouts and Preston’s own Mobius Loop.

A spokesman said: “We are now running a Band night at the Dog and Partridge just down the road from the Beautiful Planet every third Tuesday for starters.

“This will be as well as the usual Bohemia at the cafe.

“Please support this gig as this is a new adventure for Bohemia - and this event supports the bands financially.”

Spiral Scouts, who play a funked up folk with songs penned by vocalist and guitarist George Spittal, will take the stage at 9pm tomorrow with the psychedelic funky folk reggae fusion of city based six piece Mobius Loop closing the first show at 10pm.

Spiral Scouts, who formed in April 2010, have played festivals including Solfest, Alchemyfest, Bomfest, Barefoot in Babylon, Langdales folk festival, Harefield Hall music and beer festival, Tommyfest.

Mobius Loop - who are Nathan Bowe, Sean O’Hara, Katie Ryan, Sean Zaniboni, Tom Robinson and Alex O’Hara - have developed a lot over the years to create the eclectic fusion they have become.

Entry to the night, as always with Bohemia events, will be free and DJ Paul will be spinning the tunes between bands.
