One of the most famous rock groups of all time, KISS was formed in 1973 by original members Paul Stanley, Gene Simmons, Ace Frehley and Peter Criss.

Most of their 70s albums, particularly in the period from 1974 to 1977, featured a hard rock or classic heavy metal style. Some of their most famous tracks became rock anthems including I Was Made For Lovin’ You, God Gave Rock ‘n’ Roll To You and Rock ‘n’ Roll All Nite.

Their biggest hit in the UK came some years later with Crazy Crazy Nights which reached number four in 1987.

KISS concerts were famed for such outrageous acts as Simmons’ incredibly large tongue, him spitting blood or breathing fire and Frehley soloing as his guitar burst into flames.

The KISS tribute show is on Saturday, February 14.

Admission is free.
