FAC 51 The Hacienda visits Rumes in Preston on Saturday December 7 for a special event featuring Greg Wilson and K Klass.

The club, on Church Street, will be open until 3am and will also feature sets from Herbie Saccani and Jaegerrossa. Billed as “the most famous club in the world”, The Hacienda opened in 1982, inspiring a generation of DJs, producers and dancers.

It closed in June 1997 but the Hacienda events keep the original spirit and vibes that shaped the original venue. Wilson was an influential resident at The Hacienda in 1983 and was the first DJ to mix live on TV, for The Tube’s visit to Manchester.

After taking time out from DJing in the mid 1980s to concentrate on production and management, Greg returned to the decks in the early noughties and has become much in demand for his special edits and mixes.

Having headlined at Festival No.6, Bestival, Wickerman and Glastonbury this year alone, Greg has remained one of the most popular DJs in his field.

K Klass played live more at The Hacienda than anyone else and recorded club staples Rhythm is a Mystery and Let Me Show You. Tickets cost £8-£12 from Skiddle (http://skdl.it/H3D0LR) and from Scene Preston (www.famentertainment.co.uk).
