After a critically acclaimed, sold-out Edinburgh Fringe run and a fourth nomination for Best Show at the Edinburgh Comedy Awards, stand-up comedian Kieran Hodgson brings his brand-new show “Big In Scotland” to Chorley Theatre on Wednesday November 1.
In 2020, the world changed forever, as Kieran Hodgson moved to Scotland. Now he’s travelling around the still-just-about United Kingdom to tell you how it’s working out for him and for the Scots.

Hide AdKieran is best known for playing Gordon in the BBC sitcom Two Doors Down, and has had three Channel 4 specials.
He’s gone viral on social media with his “Bad TV Impressions” where he spoofs shows like The Crown and Happy Valley.
The Yorkshire-born comedian spent 18 months preparing this new live show, perfecting the accents to provide an informed outsider’s guide to Scotland. It’s a show that delights in teasing audiences and undermining stereotypes.
It was one of the best-reviewed shows at this year’s Edinburgh Fringe, with dozens of four and five star reviews. The Times called it “wise, funny and endearingly virtuosic”
