The bass player and his band The Light will follow last year’s sold out Unknown Pleasures show, in which he played Joy Division’s iconic album in full, with a gig packed with the best of New Order which arrives in the city in October.

Hook, who performs with his new band, The Light,
following his departure from New Order in the wake of his
acrimonious split with his former bandmate Bernard Sumner, will be playing live the first two era-defining New Order albums, 1981’s Movement and the follow up, Power,
Corruption and Lies, in their entirety. And he promises to throw in a few of the band’s groundbreaking singles,
including Ceremony, Everything’s Gone Green and the worldwide hit Blue Monday, at the show which goes ahead on Thursday, October 31.
