LSV chief executive Simon Toon said: “This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see Elton John in Leigh, and we’d hate for anyone to think they’re going to miss the chance to see him perform some of the greatest pop of our times.

“There are just a few tickets left so act now to avoid disappointment.”

Sir Elton will be joined on stage by up-and-coming electro-pop duo Bright Light Bright Light, with whom he recently collaborated on single I Wish We Were Leaving.

A few tickets remain on sale and are available by ringing 0844 8472441 or visiting www.ticketmaster.co.uk
