She is to top the bill at another night packed with the best of local talent, this time at the city’s Mad Ferret.

Also on the bill is Preston singer songwriter David Shurr (pictured right) who, despite not even being out of his teens, has already tasted success when he reached the final 10 in jazz star Jamie Cullum’s talent search competition, The Big Audition, in 2011.

He also won the Best Original Performance at Tom Lee’s Soundbase Festival and a video on YouTube gained 400,000 views.

Opening the show will be another local singer songwriter, Katy Pickles.

Karima will be playing without her band for this show, making it a real intimate chance to see a fast rising singer up close and personal.

Doors open at 8pm and entry will be £5.
