The institution hosts a Christmas card making drop in craft session from 1.30pm to 3.30pm as part of their regular programme of Hands on at the Harris children’s arts workshops.

Children can draw inspiration for their own creations from examples of the historic cards in the museum’s collection.

Many of these will be out on display on the day to help visitors fuel their own creativity and inspire their own designs.

Families and children can pop in at any point between 1.30pm and 3.30pm and join in the fun, which is aimed at youngsters aged between five and 12.

And participants can stay for either 15 minutes for the whole two hour session.

Entry will be free. For more information on this or on any other of the Hands on at the Harris sessions, call 01772 258248.
