The museum’s resident History Hunter, John Meredith, is back with some fascinating and little known historical facts about the festive season.

On Tuesday, December 10, he hosts Christmas Crackers with John Meredith, as part of the museum’s Christmas programme, organised by the Friends of the Museum of Lancashire.

From 2pm to 3pm, he’ll be delivering “history with humour” at the Stanley Street institution and hopefully bringing a few seasonal giggles along with the facts to his audience as part of his series of talks.

Entry to the session will be free to members of the Friends and costs just £2 for non members.
