Fright nights are becoming a summertime treat in Blackpool with the resort’s Ghost Walks taking place through the holiday period.

Haunted Blackpool author Stephen Mercer takes parties on a spooky stroll to learn of the town’s history, heritage and hauntings!

Blackpool Ghost Walks take place through to October 26 when a Victorian host will guide groups along part of Blackpool’s Promenade and into the town centre, taking in some of the resort’s haunted highlights including some of its most famous buildings and attractions.

Stephen says: “I have presented occasional Blackpool Ghost Walks since 2010 however during the main school holiday period the ghost walks will take place five nights a week. They are totally family friendly; so everyone is welcome hear stories of ghostly goings-ons, eerie encounters, strange sounds, supernatural sightings, phantoms, shipwrecks, foghorns and more!”

Blackpool Ghost Walks begin at 7.30pm from the front of North Pier. They last approximately one and a half hours and are fully accessible for all.
