Alternative Outcomes, a company formed in 2013 by a group who use Lancaster District Homeless Action Service, will perform Twisted, their own version of Oliver Twist, in Williamson Park next Tuesday (July 7) afternoon from 2.30pm.

They have been inspired by The Dukes’ own walkabout production of Oliver Twist which is on in the park from tomorrow to August 15.

Twisted will be a modern adaptation which follows the adventures of Oliver, who runs away from home and finds himself sleeping rough in Williamson Park, where he is swiftly ‘befriended’ by a gang addicted to drink and drugs.

This production, funded by The Galbraith Trust, follows Alternative Outcomes’ successful tour of Ebenezer Dealer which ended with a performance on The Dukes main stage last year.

Although tickets to Twisted are free, advance booking is recommended.
