Take your seats in the theatre for a glamorous, fast moving ice show packed with hundreds of sequin-studded costumes and incredibly daring lifts.

This year’s Hot Ice show, Obsession, runs from tonight to September 10.

Hot Ice really is a family affair as it was Leonard Thompson, grandfather of current Blackpool Pleasure Beach managing director, Amanda Thompson, who commissioned world-famous architect Joseph Emberton to design and build the Arena in 1936 and founded the very first ice show in 1937.

A love of skating and a passion for the ice has been passed down through the generations, as Hot Ice is currently produced and directed by Amanda Thompson.
