Dirty Dancing is back in town
Dirty Dancing is back to the Palace Theatre in Manchester two years after it first wowed the city.
Paul-Michael Jones, who has attracted acclaim on the tour so far, still stars as Johnny Castle, the role made famous by Patrick Swayze in the 1987 movie.
American performer Jill Winternitz stars as Baby and Nicky Griffiths is Penny Johnson.
The dance sequences come alive on stage, set to all the hits from the soundtrack – Do You Love Me?, Hungry Eyes and the Academy award-winning Time Of My Life.
More than five million worldwide have seen the show – more than one million in London alone. It runs here from Tuesday to June 15. Box Office: 0844 871 3019 or www.atgtickets/manchester
