Eclair’s back – and grumpy!

TV comedienne Jenny Eclair is to return to Chorley Little Theatre with her classic, Grumpy Old Women.

Jenny, who grew up down the road in Lytham, has announced she will bring her new tour, The Grumpy Old Women – 50 Shades of Beige, to the Dole Lane theatre on Saturday, May 10 next year.

She will be joined on stage by Where The Heart Is star Kate Robbins, sister to Phoenix Nights star Ted Robbins, who is masterminding our panto at the Guild Hall again this year, and Susie Blake, who is known from Victoria Wood’s classic As Seen On TV.

Their show tackles the art of Grumpy Grooming, the joy of large pants, beards for women, voluntary euthanasia vs. retirement, Zumba – and many more subjects vital to ladies of a certain age.
