Southport's last church hall drama group, The West End Players, has announce its annual New Year pantomime will this year be '˜Cinderella', featuring an all-star cast with Jenny Robson as Cinderella and Kay Billingsley as Prince Charming.

The society is currently blooming with an influx of new members, all taking part in what promises to be a fun-filled traditional pantomime for all ages.

The cast includes Chloe Ackers (Fairy Godmother), Jacquie Bolshaw (Dandini), Neil Spruce and Dorothy Hughes (Baron and Lady Hardup) and John Husdell (Buttons).

The Ugly Sisters are played by Jan Husdell and Greta Wharton with Linda Cunningham and Adele O’Neil as Snitch and Snatch and Steve Aird as Major Domo.

The West End Juniors provide the singing and dancing to a host of popular songs with piano accompaniment by Margaret Prew.

The show, at Lord Street West Church Hall, Duke Street, Southport, is produced and directed by Wendy Aspin and Diana Draper and starts at 7.30pm on Fri Jan 29, Sat Jan 30, Fri Feb 5 and Sat Feb 6 with matinees at 2.15pm on both Saturdays. .
