Written by Alan P Frayn, this traditional panto, which opens at Preston Playhouse on Thursday December 12, is set in Gooseland where the young Princess Priscilla has to earn her “wings.”

To do this, she has to win earthly “eggs-perience” and learn the ways of mortals.

Only then can she truly come of age and assume her full Royal duties as a member of the Magic Goose Royal Family.

All goes well at first as the kindly Mother Goose welcomes the Princess into her home, despite her poverty.

But when the gentle Mother Goose - not to mention the Evil Squire - get a scent of her untold riches, what will happen?

Will the good Fairy Fortune prevail or will the Demom of Discontent win his covetted prize of “Baddie of the Year”?
