Maybe a little non-PC by today’s standards, even so the stereotypes are treated with affection. The Players’ cast includes a mix of their regular farceurs with one or two newcomers. The company last performed Run For Your Wife in 1997 when it proved to be one of their most popular comedies.
Bernard Cribbins took the lead role in the original 1983 West End theatre debut of the play, with - amongst others - Richard Briers and Bill Pertwee.
