Set in Oregon in 1850, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers is the story of Adam (Sam Attwater – Dancing on I ce champion, Hollyoaks, EastEnders), the eldest of seven brothers, who goes to town to get a wife.

He convinces Milly (Helena Blackman – How Do You Solve A Problem Like Maria?, Gypsy, The Wizard of Oz) to marry him that same day.

They return to his backwoods home and only then does she discover he has six brothers – all living in his cabin.

Milly sets out to reform the uncouth siblings, who are anxious to get wives of their own.

Then, after reading about the Roman capture of the Sabine women, Adam develops an inspired solution to his brothers’ loneliness – kidnap the women they want!

Colourful costumes, great sets and high energy performances – this stunning production will put a spring in your step and a tune on your lips.

This classic Rodgers & Hammerstein musical features 16 showstopping tunes including Bless Your Beautiful Hide, Sibbin’ Women, Love Never Goes Away, Wonderful Day, Goin’ Courtin’ and Glad That You Were Born.

Directed and choreographed by US award winner Patti Colombo the dance action features dizzying leaps and spins.

The production is at the Grand Theatre from Monday November 11 to Saturday 16.
