When the lights go out all over Morecambe

The West End of Morecambe will again be lit up by hundreds of homemade lanterns in December.

The Lantern Festival supported by charity More Music will go ahead on Wednesday December 11, and there will as ever be opportunities to get involved.

Every year, local residents wrap up in their warmest clothes and head off into the night on a torchlight street procession.

And the result is magical.
