Ex-teachers make a fresh start with Leyland business

A husband  and wife team have made a fresh start by launching a new kitchen makeover showroom in Leyland amidst the coronavirus pandemic.

Former teachers Diane and Richard Took had dreamed of running their own business.

Unfortunately the launch of their new venture came amid all the uncertainty and disruption of the coronavirus crisis.

But now they are up and running once again.

Now they have thanked the local public for their support in getting the business off the ground.

Diane and Richard have launched Dream Doors Preston and Blackburn in Towngate, Leyland.

The former teachers said the support and interest shown by the local community had been a great help to them.

Diane said: “This is such a lovely area to work in.

“Our customers are warm and friendly, and people have been very supportive of us as we built up to the launch of the showroom.

Dream Doors specialises in replacing doors, drawers and worktops to breathe new life into tired kitchens as well as offering full refits.
